Chapter 24 Be Misunderstood
After leaving Lin Jiawei's office, Luo Hao went straight to the hospital and paid the money before he knew that the operation was over. Li Xianglian had been placed in the ward.
He hurried to the ward. Li Xianglian was awake and lying on the bed, looking out the window. That pretty face was indeed a little pale, and there was sadness in her almond eyes, as if something was on her mind.
"Elder sister Xianglian!" Luo hao shouted.
Seeing that luo hao was back, Li Xianglian turned her head and wanted to get up, but this movement involved the wound, and she frowned in pain.
"You just finished your surgery, and the doctor won't let you move around." Luo Hao hurried over to hold her up and let her lie down again.
Li Xianglian was lying on the bed, looking at Luo Hao who turned around to pour water for her. Suddenly, she almost cried. If it weren't for him this time, Li Xianglian might not be in this world anymore.
He never thought that there would be such a day, nor did he think that luo hao would be such a kind man.
"Hao Zi, stop working."
Hearing Li Xianglian calling himself Hao Zi, Luo Hao didn't react and forgot to wipe the water when it overflowed.
"Elder sister Xianglian... What did you just call me?" Luo Hao turned around and asked.
A smile appeared on Li Xianglian's pale face, "I call you Hao Zi. I'll call you that in the future. It's very kind."
Luo Hao felt her cheeks burn, and no one called her that close except Xiuxiu.
Elder sister Xianglian, you can still call me luo hao. Luo hao said with a smile.
"I'll call you whatever I like. I'll call you Hao Zi. I'll call you Hao Zi all the time." Li Xianglian insisted.
Luo Hao did not continue to be stiff with her. He could call her whatever he wanted, which was considered taking care of the patient.
After chatting with her for a while, luo hao went to the doctor's office and asked about Li Xianglian. The doctor said it was a good thing it was delivered in time. If it was any later, people with a punctured gallbladder would be in danger.
The doctor told Luo Hao that the patient needed to be hospitalized for seven days for anti-inflammatory treatment, and that he could be discharged after the stitches were removed.
After coming out of the doctor's office, luo hao's heart was at ease.
For seven days in a row, Luo Hao took care of Li Xianglian in the hospital. Seeing that she was getting better every day, Luo Hao didn't work hard.
On sunday, after the doctor examined him, he asked Li Xianglian to remove the stitches and go home to take care of him.
After going through the discharge formalities, Li Xianglian said she should go around first. After holding it in for so many days, she felt like she was going to be a fool. Luo Hao played the role of a follower and accompanied her around the county.
Sunday was the day of the county fair, and there were a lot of people on the streets. The farmers in the eight villages and ten miles below brought the vegetables and wild vegetables from the mountains to the county to sell.
Luo Hao walked around with Li Xianglian and was curious when she saw her shopping at some stalls selling wild vegetables.
"Elder sister Xianglian, you don't look at beautiful clothes and cosmetics when you're shopping. Why do you specialize in these wild vegetables?" Luo hao asked.
Li xianglian glanced at him, pulled him out of the crowd and walked to the side, "Look, these wild vegetables are not for you, kid, or else I will drag this newly recovered body here?"
"What do you mean?" Luo Hao turned his head and immediately thought of something.
He looked at her in surprise and said, "You mean we sell wild vegetables? This natural green?"
Li Xianglian nodded approvingly. Since everyone in the city likes green food, this kind of natural green is not more popular. If we can buy this wild vegetable and find a way to transport it to the provincial capital to sell it, we will probably make a lot of money."
Li Xianglian's words completely woke Luo Hao up. Why didn't he think of this before?
Seeing the stunned Luo Hao, Li Xianglian raised his hand and patted him on the shoulder. He leaned over to his ear and said, "Hao Zi, I'm not a silly peasant woman. We have to keep up with the times."
Hearing this, Luo Hao couldn't help but laugh.
The two of them seemed to be joking, but this kind of behavior was really felt very ambiguous by outsiders. A wandering figure in the crowd not far away happened to see this scene.
He secretly took a picture of the scene with his cell phone, turned around and left with a wicked smile.
The two of them strolled around the county. At noon, Li Xianglian insisted on inviting luo hao to a restaurant to express his gratitude. After eating, he bought some daily necessities and returned to the Peach blossom village.
As soon as he entered the village, Luo Hao noticed that the atmosphere was not right. In the distance, more than 20 villagers were gathering under two locust trees at the entrance of the village and talking. Especially when they saw Luo Hao and Li Xianglian coming over, they all turned around quietly and pointed at them.
What exactly happened? Luo Hao was confused.
Just as he was about to figure it out, Hua Jiawang carried a broom in the distance, ignoring Hua Xiuxiu's obstruction, and walked aggressively towards Luo Hao. Seeing that it was Uncle hua and xiuxiuxiu, Luo Hao was quite surprised. She planned to take the initiative to say hello, but she felt that the atmosphere was not right.
"Luo Hao, you ungrateful bastard, it's really immoral of you to be with this widow behind Xiuxiu's back! If you don't make it clear today, don't step into my house!" Hua Jiawang shouted with a broom in his hand.
"Dad, Brother ho is going to take care of elder sister Xianglian. It's not what you think. I believe in Brother ho." Hua Xiuxiu ran over to stop father.
Huajia stomped its feet angrily, "Don't speak up for him. Now everyone in the group knows. Is there a fake photo of that bastard Wang San?"
Wang San? Photos?
Luo Hao knew there must be some misunderstanding. He looked at Li Xianglian and said, "Elder sister Xianglian, I'll handle this. I won't let them insult your innocence if there's nothing left."
Li xianglian nodded. She believed in Luo Hao.
"Hua uncle, let me explain this to you." Luo Hao stepped forward and said.
"Bullshit! What else do you have to explain? Do you have anything to do with her?!" Hua Jiawang shouted.
Luo Hao did not expect Huajia wang to ask such a question. Seeing the villagers around them pointing at them, he knew that there must be someone behind this.
"Hua uncle, elder sister Xianglian and I are partners, not as dirty as you think." Luo haoyi said.
Hua Jiawang became even angrier when he saw him like this. If Luo Hao had told him that it had nothing to do with Li Xianglian, he might have forgiven him, but he didn't expect the boy not only to not make it clear directly, but also to say that he wasn't as dirty as they thought. It wasn't to make him lose face in front of the villagers.
"Luo Hao, you are not allowed to enter my Huajia in the future. My Xiuxiu will never marry you!" Hua Jiawang angrily pulled Xiuxiu around and left.
Xiuxiu looked back at Luo Hao, crying bitterly, her father on one side and her beloved man on the other. She was in a dilemma.
It was a misunderstanding and ended unhappily.
Looking at Luo Hao's lonely figure, Li Xianglian was very grateful. If it wasn't for her, Luo Hao wouldn't have gotten into this mess with the Huajia.
